After months of anticipation, the trailer for "Avengers: Endgame" was released and it got fans excited. Many stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been tweeting out the trailer on social media, putting their own spin on the news. Josh Brolin posted the trailer on his Instagram and delivered an extremely low blow to the fans via his caption. Comic Book says that Brolin said "For the 50 percent who are still here," and added a smiling devil emoji. This is Brolin's cruel reference to the outcome of "Avengers: Infinity War."

The film ended with Brolin's character, Thanos, snapping his fingers and wiping out half the population of the universe.

"Infinity War" was Thanos' film, more than it being an Avengers driven film. The post-credit scene was all about him and even ended with the words "Thanos will return." The post-credit scenes are usually reserved for the heroes, but "Avengers: Infinity War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo wanted to leave us troubled by Thanos' victory.

'Avengers: Endgame' about undoing Thanos' snap

The "Endgame" trailer centered around the remaining Avengers, which includes the core six. Right now, I'm not sure what Thanos has been doing since destroying half the population of the universe. We saw a glimpse of the Thanos scarecrow, which was spotted in "Infinity War."

We Got This Covered explained that Josh Brolin has been busy this year in comic books.

While he is playing Thanos, he also took on the role of Cable in "Deadpool 2." He will also be a part of the PG-13 version of the film, "Once Upon a Deadpool." Brolin is also working on an X-Force film alongside Ryan Reynolds. Brolin is also working on projects outside of the comic book genre, including the upcoming film "George and Tammy."

Marvel directors knew they wanted Josh Brolin

The Russo brothers said that Brolin is an amazing actor and perfectly suited to play Thanos.

The Russos said they were looking to find an actor who could portray an intimidating character who has a complex life. They found Brolin to be one of a few actors that can deliver on both. "Avengers: Endgame" is arriving in theaters April 26, 2019. The next film to be released by Marvel Studios will be "Captain Marvel," which arrives on March 8, 2019.

Josh Brolin has been having a successful career, jumping from one film to the next. He was great in "The Goonies." His latest film was "Deadpool 2." With Brolin being an amazing villain, I have considered that he should be cast in other universes, such as the DC Universe as Batman.
