Zac Efron, muscle-bound star of "Baywatch," has been pushing the envelope in terms of his versatility as an actor, and now he's ready for a male on male love scene. Starting his major acting career with the youthful innocence of a role in "High School Musical," Zac is now playing serial killer Ted Bundy in the soon-to-be released film "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile." Ever seeking to increase his role-playing repertoire, Zac now appears ready to try something fresh and exciting with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Though rumored to be in a relationship with "Baywatch" co-star Alexandra Daddario, Zac has kept that potential love affair quiet even while vocalizing his real interest in getting physical with The Rock -- another co-star from the "Baywatch" film.
According to Metro news, Zac is ready, willing, and able to film an entire steamy love scene with The Rock. Is The Rock similarly inclined?
Zac kissed The Rock in 'Baywatch' and now he wants more
In "Baywatch," Zac Efron's character Matthew Brody leans in to kiss love interest Summer Quinn (played by Alexandra Daddario) but he inadvertently smooches with The Rock. The moment is comedic, but according to PinkNews, Zac really enjoyed the kiss, describing it as unforgettable and fantastic. Zac also told PinkNews that he thinks The Rock is a "dreamboat."
The Rock, meantime, seems more inclined to stick with action sequences than with male on male love scenes. In a recent film, "Rampage," The Rock plays a primatologist who teams up with another scientist to save Chicago from three gargantuan monsters.
But perhaps The Rock could be persuaded to take a break from fighting monsters in order to finish filming a love scene with Zac Efron.
The planned 'Baywatch' sequel would reunite Zac Efron and The Rock
According to Variety, "Baywatch" producer Beau Flynn announced plans for a sequel that would bring Zac and The Rock back together, along with the writers of the original film.
As early as May 2017, Flynn said he already had the story for the sequel in mind. Anything is possible with a sequel, and now that we know Zac Efron is ready to take on The Rock in a full-scale love scene, perhaps the writers will get creative with that notion. This time, rather than an accidental kiss, Zac and The Rock could mistakenly get their groove on, though it is hard to imagine how such a scene could be believable. Then again, in the world of Hollywood, magic happens, and if he's lucky, Zac Efron may have his wish granted in the "Baywatch" sequel.
