It's official. The cast of "Vanderpump Rules" is returning to Bravo Tv for a seventh season. On Wednesday, April 11, the network confirmed the news with press but didn't share any further details in regard to which cast members would be back -- or when season seven would air.
In the past, the cast of "Vanderpump Rules," which currently includes Lisa Vanderpump, Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, Katie Maloney, Kristen Doute, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Marie, has begun filming on the new seasons in late spring.
For season six, the cast kicked off filming in May of last year, around the time of Scheana's birthday.
Jax Taylor was at the center of the drama during 'Pump Rules' season six
As fans will recall, the sixth season of the show kicked off with shocking allegations being made against Jax Taylor, which he quickly denied. Then, during the second episode of the season, Taylor admitted to cheating on his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright with their friend and co-star Faith Stowers.
Variety confirmed "Vanderpump Rules" had been renewed on Wednesday.
Scheana Marie's relationship was a hot topic
After the drama between Taylor and Cartwright subsided, Scheana Marie's short-lived romance with actor Robert Parks-Valletta became a hot topic for her co-stars.
As fans will recall, Scheana bragged heavily about Parks-Valletta throughout the season and made it clear that she intended to marry him as soon as her divorce from Mike Shay was finalized. Unfortunately, things didn't pan out that way and in August of last year, Parks-Valletta chose to end their relationship after being accused of cheating on her by her co-stars.
Will 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' return for season nine?
Along with the news of the return of "Vanderpump Rules," Variety also confirmed the returns of several other reality shows, including “Married to Medicine,” “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” "Million Dollar Listing New York," “Flipping Out,” "Don't Be Tardy," “Shahs of Sunset,” “Southern Charm Savannah,” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The "Real Housewives" shows based in Atlanta, Dallas, Orange County, and New Jersey were also renewed for returns later this year or early next year.
"Vanderpump Rules" season six currently airs on Bravo TV on Monday nights at 9 p.m. There has been no word yet on a premiere date for season seven.
