Looks like it's baby season for the Middletons! With the Duchess of Cambridge set to give birth any day now, new reports suggest that her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, 34, and her financier husband, James Matthews, are expecting their first child together.

Kate 'thrilled' to be an aunt

In a recent report by The Sun, it has been revealed that the couple, who got married last year, is overjoyed and couldn't wait to welcome their bundle of joy later this year. Apparently, Pippa shared the happy news with her family and friends after her 12-week scan.

A source told the outlet that one of the first people to know about the pregnancy is her older sister Kate.

The Duchess Of Cambridge, who is also pregnant with her third royal baby, is reportedly "delighted" after being told that her younger sister is about to be a mother as well. The outlet noted that she is just "thrilled" to become an aunt later this year. There were also claims that the sisters are more than excited knowing that they are pregnant at the same time.

Aside from Kate, their parents, Carole and Michael, are also ecstatic about the news and have been looking forward to the newest additions to their growing family.

A perfect timing

Pippa's pregnancy reportedly comes at a difficult time and "provided some much-needed happiness" for both families.

It can be recalled that James' father, David, 74, was accused of sexually abusing a minor in the 1900s. Allegedly, Pippa's father-in-law carried out two sexual attacks between 1998 and 1999 in France and the Carribean island of St. Barts. However, the multi-millionaire vehemently denied such accusations, adding that it was just a "set up." He has been placed under investigation.

A dream come true for Pippa

Meanwhile, with a baby on the way, many were convinced that Pippa is going to be a doting mother just like her sister Kate. Apparently, the British socialite has always wanted to start her own family, especially after marrying James. Sources close to the couple noted that during the first few months of marriage, they felt the time was right to expand their family.

And it looks like Pippa already has some hands-on experience with children, especially with her niece and nephew -- Princess Charlotte, two and Prince George, four. There were claims that the royal siblings have always been fond of their aunt and enjoy her company. Pippa and James' first baby is expected to arrive in October,
