Credit for the meeting between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle goes to a mutual friend who had arranged a blind date where they met. Subsequently, he proposed and she accepted and the Royal family nodded their assent. Then came the announcement of their engagement and finalizing the date of the wedding followed by a flurry of activities that included sending out invitations.
According to People, when Meghan entered his life, it did wonders for the Prince. She influenced him in many ways and in spite of coming from a different background, she is learning the art of adapting to a new lifestyle that will match with the demands of a Royal Family.
Both of them have interacted with the common people and Meghan has come out with flying colors.
Meghan was a breath of fresh air
There is a cultural difference between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and she had to sacrifice a lot to get accepted by the Royal Family. Harry had been impulsive in nature and had been involved in a number incidents that were not in line with Royal traditions. However, a decade in uniform changed his outlook. He joined the British Army and went on a couple of tours to Afghanistan where he discovered a purpose in life and followed his instincts.
His interaction with the soldiers led to the creation of the Invictus Games and the annual Paralympic-style competition for wounded warriors.
It was in the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto that the world saw Harry and Meghan together for the first time. Needless to say, she has come into his life as a breath of fresh air, and their wedding is set to cut across all cultural boundaries and set a precedent.

The two of them have gelled as a pair and the people have taken a liking to them. They turned up in large numbers to greet them when Harry and Meghan visited the countryside.
