The mystery of who bit Beyonce has been solved. Well, at least we think it's been solved. According to a new report from Page Six, Sanaa Lathan is the woman who bit Beyonce on the face. However, the actress has already publicly denied doing the deed. So did she really bite Beyonce or is this all a misunderstanding?

Page Six reported that multiple sources have told them it was Sanaa who bit Beyonce at the afterparty back in December. Tiffany Haddish spilled the beans about the Beyonce biter in a recent cover story for GQ but she wouldn't say who it was.

That set off a stream of investigators who were trying to figure out the mystery. Based on what we know about the story though, if Sanaa Lathan really did it, she and Tiffany aren't friends at all. (Remember, Tiffany wanted to fight her.)

The evidence

When the Beyonce story emerged, many internet sleuths started putting together a list of possible biters. It wasn't hard to figure who many of the afterparty attendees were. After all, there were a lot of photos posted on social media from the event.

A list of prominent women that attended the party was made. They included Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Sanaa Lathan, and Jen Foster. Immediately, Queen Latifah and Rihanna were eliminated from the suspect list because they are..

well...Queen Latifah and Rihanna. Neither of them would bite Queen Bey.

That left everyone thinking it had to be either Sanaa or Sara. Both women took to Twitter to proclaim their innocence but it looks like maybe only one of them was telling the truth.

In the initial story, Haddish talked about how Beyonce walked up as an actress was chatting up Jay-Z and that she wasn't too happy about it.

Considering that whole cheating thing that Jay admitted to, we can totally see why she might get a little territorial.

As the story goes, when Beyonce approached the actress, she "playfully" bit Beyonce on the chin. According to the report, it was a huge deal at the party and everyone was buzzing about it. Seriously, who would bite Beyonce?

That's what everyone wanted to know and we still do!

“It was a big thing in the moment at the party, everyone was talking about how anyone would dare to do that," a source told Page Six.

Considering how many people were at the party, after Tiffany Haddish put the biter on blast, it was only a matter of time before the truth would come out. Beyonce reportedly did not want that to happen because she was afraid of what the Beyhive would do to the biter. They can be pretty vicious when their queen has been mistreated.

A confession of sorts

When the initial who bit Beyonce controversy started, Sanaa Lathan was one of the main suspects. She and Sara Foster were the only party attendees that many seemed to think could have done it and let's be honest, Foster was a long shot.

Both women took to Twitter to claim their innocence. However, the "Love & Basketball" star's denial sounds more like a really smooth confession.

"Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite," Sanaa tweeted.

So, love bite it is. Now we wait and see how Beyonce and the Beyhive handle this new revelation. Will the hive come after Sanaa Lathan? Will Beyonce speak out about the incident? Will Tiffany Haddish ever be invited to another Jay-Z and Beyonce event? Let's see how this plays out.
