Two former stars of the hit television series “Smallville,” are allegedly linked to sex cult leader, Keith Raniere. Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk are faced with accusations of using their celebrity status and influence to lure unknowing young victims into sex cult, NXIVM, a supposed self-help group.
Allison Mack formerly played dreamy-eyed high school student, Chloe Sullivan on "Smallville," from 2001-2011. Kristin Kreuk played Clark Kent’s love interest, Lana Lang. Both actresses signed on with the sex cult in upstate New York.
Victims were unknowingly coerced into the alleged slave-master club, as NXIVM presents itself as a “humanitarian self-help group.” NXIVM poses as a group wishing to empower people that seek enlightenment and what it means to be human.
Creator and founder, Keith Raniere, is denying any lawlessness in the involvement with Mack and Kreuk.
Raniere was arrested this week at his villa in Mexico and was charged with sex trafficking and other horrifying accusations such as branding women in their pelvic areas. Raniere wrote on the NXIVM website, stating, “These allegations are most disturbing to me as non-violence is one of my most important values.”
FBI official William Sweeney holds firm accusations against all involved parties of sex slavery, branding, and manipulation. Sweeney further detailed disturbing facts, saying, “Keith Raniere displayed a disgusting abuse of power in his efforts to denigrate and manipulate women he considered slaves.”
Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk’s involvement with the cult
It has been stated by NXIVM’s former publicist, Frank Parlato, that Mack is second in command in Raniere’s sex cult.
Mack was involved in a special group called DOS, and recruited other slaves into the organization. Also stated by Frank Parlato, it was Mack’s idea to brand the flesh of their victims with initials KR and AM.
Kristin Kreuk is accused of luring unknowing victims into the organization. Kreuk denies all allegations against her.
In 2012, she actually brought Mack into the organization, but left following concerns of Raniere being a sexual predator with underage girls.
Trial and conviction of Keith Raniere and Allison Mack
If convicted, Keith Raniere could face up to 15 years in prison on multiple counts of Sex Trafficking and forced labor. Allison Mack’s charges have not been made clear, but she could be charged as a co-conspirator in the sex trafficking scandal.
