In case you didn’t know, the Duggar family are very strict when it comes to relationships, as they don’t even follow the process of dating. Instead of dating this family follow the process of courting and some fans have even compared arranged marriages to courtships, as they have certain rules that both participants must follow. Jim Bob (who is the father of this family) described the process of courting as “dating with a purpose.” It is different from ordinary dating, as the couple must have chaperoned dates, limited touching, and they apparently even have their messages with each other monitored to ensure that the couple don’t get up to any mischief.

Well, apparently, Kendra and Joseph Duggar (who are now married) may have broken some courtship rules while the two were in the process of courting.

What rule did this couple break?

Now, the courting rule that this Duggar couple apparently broke while the two were courting was the limited touching rule. What happened here was that before the two were married they embraced in a full-frontal hug which is against their very strict courtship rules. The Duggar family believe a full-frontal hug is something that only really spouses should partake in because they believe it is improper for a man and woman’s chest to be put up against each other. I have even attached a video below which includes the two in a full-frontal hug which is again against their courtship rules.

However, it is worth mentioning that the family do allow side hugs, as the couple's chests aren’t being pushed up against each other.

What is everyone else in the Duggar family up to now?

The Duggar family is very busy at the current moment in time, as the new season of their TLC family reality television series “Counting On” just began to air its brand new dramatic episodes.

The season is said to be so dramatic that it may even potentially deal with what the consequences were for Jill Duggar Dillard’s husband Derick Dillard being fired from the series.

In case you didn’t know, Derick Dillard was fired because of the way he attacked fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings online for being transgender. The TLC network even released a statement when they let him go, saying that his views didn’t match up with their beliefs as a network.
