In case you haven’t been following the Duggar family for a while then you wouldn’t obviously know about the whole Josh Duggar scandal. This scandal has to do with the fact that Josh allegedly sexually assaulted five different underage girls, including two of his sisters, Jill and Jessa. Another part of this scandal is the fact that he was again allegedly exposed for being a member of the cheating website Ashley Madison. This website is where people in relationships would find partners to have an affair with behind the other person’s back. Well, now Josh has decided to file a lawsuit in Arkansas over the Public Release of records and documentation related to the events of the assault of his two sisters, Jill and Jessa.

What is this lawsuit that Josh Duggar has filed in Arkansas?

This lawsuit has to do with the public release of records regarding information about his alleged sexual assault on his sisters, Jill and Jessa. In the lawsuit, Josh claims that officials improperly published records of a 2006 investigation dealing with this supposed assault. The lawsuit states that “The facts included in said investigation were not a matter of public records and, in fact, were protected from disclosure by Arkansas state law.” It is worth mentioning that the reason that this whole investigation started in the first place was that the police received an anonymous tip that Josh assaulted five girls between 2002 and 2003.

Josh Duggar was never charged with anything as he was a minor at the time, but he did admit to the allegations in 2015. Josh has since attended and completed rehab for his issues and has even returned to his marriage with wife, Anna Duggar, as they have been believed to have worked out their problems. Information from this article comes from a report by The Hollywood Gossip.
