Although none of the Kardashian sisters are certified weight loss experts, they’ve collectively lost hundreds of pounds right before our very eyes. Take Kim Kardashian West, who lost the 60 pounds she gained during her last pregnancy in just 4 months, or Kourtney Kardashian, 38, who lost 35 pounds of baby weight within five months of giving birth, and lastly, Khloe Kardashian, who has successfully managed her 40-pound weight loss.
While many may believe that their weight loss strategies are quite ineffective, the Kardashians do have access to one of the best fitness trainers and nutritionists’ money can buy.
Kourtney, the oldest but most petite of the Kardashian clan, revealed on last night’s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" that she’s down to just 98 pounds.
The big reveal
Kourtney Kardashian, 38, who is the shortest of the sisters at 5ft, revealed her true weight to sister Khloe in a deleted scene from the show. In the clip on E! you can see Khloe, Kourtney, and their pal Simon Geberelul chatting in Khloe’s kitchen as Kourtney made a quick salad.
“You know she’s 97 pounds…” a stunned Khloe Kardashian says to friend Simon Gebrelul. To which Kourtney replied, “Guess what? I gained one pound. So, I’m 98 pounds…” she went further to add that her oldest son Mason weighs 62 pounds. Which means that Mason may soon be bigger than his mother.
Back in April 2015, Kourtney posted an Instagram picture of a bathroom scale which read 116 pounds, in which she captioned, “I’m 5 feet tall, so everyone relax. I’m also on a workout kick, trying to bring some Monday motivation.” According to National Institutes of Health, the normal weight range for a 5 foot individual is 97-127 pounds.
Kourtney Kardashian’s super strict diet
The 38-year-old reality star is no stranger to tough workouts, even making time to squeeze in a session at the gym whilst on vacation. Kourtney keeps to a strict organic sugar-free diet. The mother-of-three shared the news on her website and app last year. She went further to reveal that she has cut soda from her diet, and she’s also specific about which alcohol she drinks and she prefers to make her own salad at home.
She believes that keeping this organic diet is best for her and her kids’ overall health. She added: “Half the time when you’re really thirsty. I mean, I eat constantly throughout the day, so I’m not saying don’t eat and just drink water, but I notice most times I eat less because I’m so full from water.
The reality star’s dedication to her fitness and nutrition regimen is no secret. She’s been open about her organic, sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free diet.
