"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday, January 25, reveal that Lily (Christel Khalil) makes an effort to bond with Sam. Noah (Robert Adamson) will discover the truth about Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). And, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) plots her next move.

Lily tries to bond with Sam

Lily tries to make things right and be the mother figure that Cane (Daniel Goddard) wants her to be to his infant son. She realizes that it may be tough, but she has to try. Lily knows that Sam isn't to blame for Cane's one-night-stand, but she cannot help but feel guarded around him.

"Young and the Restless" spoilers suggest that she believes that if she cannot bond with Sam, it could end her reconcile attempt with Cane.

Trouble could be headed for the Ashby family and could be the turning point for Lily. Juliet (Laur Allen) father said he wanted nothing to do with Juliet or her child, but he may have changed his mind. If Juliet's parents come looking for Sam, it could be the push Lily needed to go into "mama bear protection mode" and bond with the baby.

Noah finds out about Tessa and Mariah

According to SheKnows Soaps, Mariah never wanted Noah to find out about her kiss with Tessa.

However, Mariah was forced to prove that Tessa used her diary to write a song. "Young and the Restless" spoilers state that Devon (Bryton James) and Tessa accused Mariah of lying, so she was forced to prove herself. On Tuesday's show, she will show Devon her diary to prove that Tessa used her words for her new song. It won't take long for news to get back to Noah.

"Y&R" spoilers indicate that Noah will confront his sister and ask to read her diary for himself. He just cannot believe that Tessa would steal from her. He thinks it's just a misunderstanding and Mariah is lashing out at Tessa. Eventually, Mariah agrees to show Noah the diary and apologizes for hurting him. Noah will feel betrayed, hurt, and angry.

Ashley plots her next move

Ashley and Jack (Peter Bergman) have been battling for the Jabot CEO chair for quite some time. "Young and the Restless" spoilers state that Ashley will plan what to do next on Thursday's show. She wonders if it's time to tell her lawyer to schedule a court date for a judge to decide who should occupy the CEO chair.

It's apparent that both sides have compelling reasons why they should be the Jabot CEO. However, only one person can take over the job. Or can they? Perhaps, the judge will recommend they share the responsibility and urge them to see a family therapist to work out their difference. "Y&R" spoilers suggest the judge will give a shocking recommendation.
