Well, would you look at that>?The Duggar family is in the news yet again, and this time it is not for a good reason. This time it is Jessa Duggar that is causing some controversy online after she posted a video to her Instagram account that has made some parents strangely raise an eyebrow.
Jessa’s Instagram is not the only controversial thing about this family. For example, Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard was recently just kicked off the family’s reality television series “Counting On” as he made rather transphobic remarks about Jazz Jennings online.
The TLC network also had to release a statement on his firing by saying that they fired him because his controversial views didn’t match with the network’s views.
Why are fans angry at Jessa Duggar’s Instagram?
As mentioned above, some Duggar fans are not very happy with Jessa Duggar, and the reason for that to me anyway is quite silly. You see, what happened here was Jessa uploaded a video to her Instagram of her 2-year-old son, Spurgeon, practicing his shapes. The caption to this Instagram post was “One of the cousins must’ve been giving him lessons.”
I know that sounds completely innocent, but some Duggar fans were furious with this video. The reason these fans were angry was because her son or one of the cousins misspelled the words shapes as “shaps” and square as “sqare.” It is also worth mentioning that in the video Spurgeon or the cousin labeled a pentagon as a hexagon and a hexagon as an octagon.
Now, that is obviously no big deal but like I said some fans were furious with one even commenting “He’s too young to read the spelling just yet but two shapes are labeled incorrectly, and he’s learned that.” While another wrote “I get that a kid did the spelling, fine. But at least teach them the correct shapes.” I have attached the actual Instagram video below so you can see what all of the fuss is about with your own eyes.
What else is the Duggar family up to?
In good Duggar family news, Jinger Duggar and her husband Jeremy Vuolo had just announced earlier this month that they are expecting their first child later in the year. This is not the only Duggar pregnancy this year as both Joy-Anna and Kendra are also expecting a child sometime in the year as well.
However, with good news comes bad news and that would be that Jill will reportedly not return to the series either as she is angry with her family because they let TLC fire her husband. This is reportedly why Jill has been getting body modifications recently as she may be trying to distance herself from her conservative family.
