As fans may have heard, the "Real Housewives of #New York City" star was taken into custody just before 1:30 AM on Sunday morning after she reportedly kicked a police officer and threatened to kill people.

On Twitter, LuAnn de Lesseps offered her apologies to anyone who she may have offended with her recent behavior and attempted to explain why she wasn't in the best mindset during her Florida vacation. "This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions," she explained to her online audience.

She then promised her fans and followers on Twitter that she was committed to embarking on the New Year in a more positive and hopeful manner.

For the past several weeks, LuAnn de Lesseps and her co-stars have been filming scenes for the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of New York City."
