"The young and the restless" spoilers say that Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) and his heroics on the Thursday episode of "Y&R" might save him from the wrath of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Billy saved Vikki's son Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) from The Underground blaze, but he also burned Brash & Sassy to the ground with his sloppy business practices. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) discovered that manufacturing mistakes poisoned the masks and asked Billy who would do such a careless thing. She knows it was Billy and now he knows too.

Vikki will found out soon enough.

Billy's bad luck won't stop

We know from "Young and the Restless" history that Billy Abbott has the worst luck. He got run over by a car, has been blown up, and was sabotaged by his brother Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). Once again, Billy's rotten luck put his reputation and life on the line. Billy had no idea when he rushed the factory to produce the Sassy masks that he was cutting corners and poisoning the product. It's a good thing the items weren't on the shelf already and only Vikki was using them heavily so she's the only one that was poisoned, but the damage to the B&S brand may be irreversible. Billy's bad luck tainted Brash & Sassy and ruined it.

Now Billy's bad luck followed him to The Underground.

While Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was playing with matches, it turns out he's not the one that burned the bar. Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) wandered out of the Abbott mansion and set the fire while burning a photo of Brent Davis. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers hint that's not really Dina at all but is Myrna Bloodworth (Marcia Rodd) in disguise.

The latest "Y&R" rumors hint that Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee) is running one last scam to try and steal Dina's fortune and punish her for stealing his stepdad, Brent. And Billy's bad luck caught him up in that mess.

Billy forgiven because he saved Reed?

"Y&R" spoilers from the soap magazines say that Victor will be furious when he finds out Billy ruined Victoria's business, but nothing matters more to The Mustache than family, and Billy did save Reed from the fire.

Victoria, too, would rather have her son alive than worry about Brash & Sassy's success. Billy proved himself a real hero when he saved Reed and his brother's kids, Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson). Too bad for Billy that his luck ran out and he was trapped in the collapse of the building when The Underground surrendered to the blaze.

Will Cane rush in to try and save his brother? Or will it be Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)? The preview for the "Y&R" Friday cliffhanger episode shows that Jack demands to be let into the fire zone to check on his brother. Since Jack is now scared Billy will die, and once he finds out his mom Dina caused the blaze, this could be the event that heals the Abbotts at long last and reunites Billy and Jack.
