The couple got engaged in April 2015 but has been under media scrutiny. This is mainly because some fans don’t seem to understand why he is dating her in the first place. Most fans want him to be with his former flame and “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart, who is now dating Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell. Now, it seems that they can no longer take the time to be together and it looks like the actor takes refuge with his long-time friend, Katy Perry.
The wedding is off
According to a source, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ relationship hit a snag because of their busy careers. "Their travel schedules took a big toll on the relationship,” the insider told E! News. “Rob is the one who ended it." It is said that the couple also purchased a house together but things between them didn’t work out well, and the English songstress decided to move out. However, a separate source made it clear that although they have broken up, the couple still loves each other but can no longer be together.
No other people involved
Last month, Life & Style’s source claimed that the couple got back together after a brief breakup after realizing that they needed each other.
The insider went on to say that R-Pattz even moved into her home in London’s East End and wants to give her the wedding of her dreams. Unfortunately, it might not happen after the actor decided to separate ways from his fiancée. The last time that they were seen together was in May during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival filled with PDA.

R-Pattz has been rumored to have been dating popstar Katy Perry, but the singer repeatedly denied these allegations and said that the actor is like a brother to her.
Another source recently told E! News that although Pattinson has broken up with FKA, he remains single and is not dating anyone. The insider further said that Katy is his good friend and has been “leaning” on her since his breakup with the English songstress. It is said that they regularly talk on the phone and see each other when there is time.
