Invictus Games already came to a close on Saturday. Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markle sealed the event with a major PDA, and a lot of people felt the butterflies in their stomach.

The international Paralympic-style multi-sport event’s closing ceremonies were held at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. Aside from the royal couple, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, and Kelly Clarkson ended the event with their performances.

Markle, Prince Harry’s display major PDA

Meghan Markle was seated in the luxury box with her mother, Doria Radlan. Prince Harry, on the other hand, was in the stands with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.

Later, the 33-year-old royal joined his girlfriend in her place. He then gave her a big smile and a kiss on the cheek. However, it seemed like that the two were still hiding as they were at the darkest side of the box’s back.

According to Business Insider, they were sitting next to each other and displaying major PDA. They were seen laughing together and whispering on one another’s ears throughout the ceremonies. At one point, he was even caught kissing her while Markle’s friend Markus Anderson was standing in front of them.

Handing out the medals

Aside from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Invictus Games’ closing ceremonies were also ended by Bruce Springsteen’s performance.

The 68-year-old singer-songwriter performed his three classic songs that included "Dancing in the Dark." Bryan Adams was also present in the event and sang “Cuts like a Knife” with Springsteen.

In his closing speech, Prince Harry paid tribute to the athletes. "Our world needs your dedication and passion like never before," he said. The late Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ youngest son believed that the event might be another way for these wounded veterans to serve the people again with their abilities.

Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, on the other hand, gave the participation medals to the competitors while they were making their way to the arena floor.

The former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was also at the event and handed out medals.

The multi-sport event

Invictus Games started in 2014. Just like its previous events, the third one was another success.

It is a seven-day affair for the wounded veterans to display their inspirational athletic performances.

Prince Harry created the Paralympic-style games to give these soldiers the inspiration and motivation on their way to recovery. In the past week, there were about 550 competitors from 17 countries that participated. The 2018 Invictus Games is said to be held in Sydney, Australia.
