Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner stunned their fans when they announced their engagement on Sunday. The DNCE vocalist was the first to deliver the good news to his Instagram followers with a photo of the diamond engagement ring. "She said yes," he captioned.
The "Game of Thrones" star uploaded the same photo and wrote, "I said yes," seemingly confirming her engagement to the singer. Both Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have yet to provide further details regarding the announcement at the time of writing.

Nick Jonas, on the other hand, expressed his excitement on his brother's engagement with the actress.

Demi Lovato was also delighted to hear the news about her ex-boyfriend's engagement. "Huge congrats," she commented. "So happy for the both of you!”
In 2010, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer dated Joe Jonas for several months before they eventually called it quits. The DNCE vocalist claimed it was his decision to end things between him and his co-singer after he realized the importance of their friendship.
"I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now," he explained.
"It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend."
He also clarified that their breakup did not happen over the phone and reassured the fans that the split was amicable. Despite the separation, Demi Lovato has remained a good friend of Nick Jonas since they co-starred in "Camp Rock" in 2008.
In fact, the female singer considered him one of her best friends in the music industry.
"He has such a great sense of humor. I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh," she said.
How romance started for Joe and Sophie
Meanwhile, Joe Jonas was first linked to Sophie Turner after their attendance at a Kings of Leon concert in the Netherlands in November 2016. Rumor has it the two were spotted making out at the concert although both of them of kept a tight-lipped on their rumored relationship.
The DNCE singer and "Game of Thrones" alum did not confirm their relationship until earlier this year when the latter uploaded a photo of her beau from their Miami getaway.
Since then, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have made no effort to hide their relationship from the public eye. The 21-year-old actress also admitted that she is "very happy" with the singer. She also felt fortunate to be dating someone who understands her hectic schedule.
