david foster and Yolanda Hadid, who first announced their split in 2015, reportedly finalized their Divorce. In the latest court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, their divorce was officially granted by the court on Monday. The court records clearly indicate the different spousal issues that both had dealt with. In the midst of the court proceedings, financial support, property fees, and lawyer's payment were agreed by both parties.

Back in December 2015, the former couple made a public announcement of their split after years of being married.

Both reportedly had been together for nine years; however, it seemed that things didn't work out best between the former couple.

Heartbreaking split

As the former pair confirmed their split in public, Hadid, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, also revealed that for her, it was the most heartbreaking split. Apart from her desire to love again and move on from her ill-fated relationship with Foster, Hadid confirmed that she's having an ongoing battle with Lyme disease.

Apparently, her recent health condition is also one of the main reasons why she decided to call their relationship quits. Adding to one of her statements, Hadid said, "Of course it was heartbreaking. It's my marriage -- it's heartbreaking, but so is life.

David and I had a great seven-year run."

Divorce finalization news

According to US Weekly, the news confirming their divorce came shortly after reports claim that Foster is dating singer Katharine McPhee.

The report revealed that both had been into a casual date, although, it isn't still exclusive. Reports further revealed that McPhee has been out with Foster together with her daughters, Erin and Sara, recently. The singer was reportedly present during Foster's charity event in Vancouver on October 21.

Another source told US Weekly that Forster and McPhee had been dating down low.

Both seemed to have great chemistry and are enjoying each other's company. Following their finalized divorce, there is a great potential for Foster and McPhee's romance to escalate more in the future.

Although the "American Idol" season 5 runner-up and Foster have yet to confirm their escalating romance, the rumored pair was reportedly spotted in Brentwood, California, on Sunday, October 22. McPhee was spotted kissing Foster's cheek on the same day. When asked about his divorce, Foster added that they both did their best, however, things just didn't work out.
