It seems that love lost has been found again between "Avengers: Infinity War" star Chris Evans and his ex-girlfriend Jenny Slate. According to Us Weekly, the pair were recently spotted together in Atlanta. They were first seen together last Friday night when they stepped out for lunch. An eyewitness said that "they seemed like a couple" and looked like "normal people on a date." On Saturday night, Evans and Slate joined co-star Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan Downey, for a meal. Downey Jr. even posted a photo of himself with his co-star (but no Slate) together with the chefs at the restaurant on his Instagram.

Jenny Slate thinks Chris Evans is 'very famous'

Back in March, "Landline" star Jenny Slate opened up about her nine-month relationship with "Avengers: Infinity War" star Chris Evans. She told Vulture that the Marvel actor is a "very, very famous person" and that while she has several films to her name, "I'm mostly a cartoon," she alluded to the numerous voice acting work she had done. Nonetheless, the 35-year-old actress felt endearment towards Evans, who she described as "so unpretentious." Despite his superstardom, Slate thinks that Evans is still very down to earth. That's why it was so heartbreaking to break up with someone of his stature. The attention that they get when they went out became too much, People reported.

Slate recalled, "This is what I needed to do to feel normal. To be alone."

'Gifted' co-stars

"Avengers: Infinity War" star Chris Evans and "Landline" actress Jenny Slate met on the set of "Gifted," which was directed by Marc Webb and came out in April. According to E! News, Slate first talked about Evans in Anna Faris' "Unqualified" podcast, commenting that she never thought she would get along with the actor because "he's a giant man with huge muscles and he's Captain America." While the pair did not disclose the reason for their breakup nine months into the relationship, Evans did comment to E!

News that he would eventually want to settle down and have children. For now, though, the actor is very busy with his commitments with Marvel, as "Avengers: Infinity War" is set to be released next May, with a sequel due out in May 2019. He's also set to star in "The Red Sea Diving Resort," a biographic drama film written and directed by Gideon Raff. Meanwhile, Slate is busy filming Drew Pearce's "Hotel Artemis," which also stars Jodie Foster, Dave Bautista, Jeff Goldblum, Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day, and Zachary Quinto.
