Giant-Man returns.
It seems that Scott Lang's second transformation, Giant-man will return in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" as a leaked scene description revealed that the latter will use his size-changing abilities to stop a heist. According to ComicBookMovie, the film's VFX team was present during the shoot as people noticed a truck on the street and it is being raised up from the ground hinting a CGI scene.
Comic book fans speculated that Scott was the one lifting the truck from the ground as he changed to his gigantic form to stop them from escaping. Scott first transformed into Giant-Man during the airport battle against Team Iron Man in "Captain America: Civil War" as he provided a distraction for Cap and Winter Soldier to steal the Quinjet and go to Siberia.
It took the combined might of Iron Man, War Machine, and Spider-Man to defeat him. Scott was imprisoned on the Raft along with his fellow teammates Falcon, Hawkeye, and Scarlet Witch, but they were eventually saved by Cap by the end of the film.
Wasp vs. Ghost
A new behind-the-scenes photo of "Ant-Man and The Wasp" featured a fight scene between Hope Van Dyne and the film's main antagonist, Ghost played by "Black Mirror" star Hannah John-Kamen.
Ghost is closely associated with Iron Man in the comics, and she has the ability to turn invisible, phase through solid objects, and manipulate any tech-based material.
Hope will assist Scott in stopping Ghost during the course o the film, while they try to find a way to save her mother, Janet from being trapped in the Quantum Realm.
Janet entered the realm after stopping a Russian Missle during a mission with her husband, Hank Pym. Marvel Studios announced that Michelle Pfeiffer will play the role of the original Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Scott in the sequel will also struggle with consequences of his actions after the events of "Civil War" and tries to balance his superhero career and being a father to Cassie.
"The Matrix" star Laurence Fishburne is cast as Dr. Bill Foster and he will be a close friend and colleague of Hank. The latter is hinted to join Scott, Janet, and Hank in rescuing Janet from the Quantum Realm.
"Ant-Man and The Wasp" is set to premiere on July 6, 2018.
