Maci Bookout has been accused of only sharing posts on Instagram when it means she will get a profit. Over the past couple of weeks, Maci has only shared pictures of products that she is promoting in return for a fee. Fans have been quite upset with Maci for doing so, as they feel she was using her "Teen Mom OG" fan base for the sake of money.
On the show, Maci hasn't talked about what kind of job she wants or whether she plans on using her education. Instead, she's been working on her husband's T-shirt business, "Things That Matter," but recently revealed that she wanted to step out of the business and let him do it for himself.
He agreed as he wanted to run the business and let her pursue her dreams.
Introducing family
Perhaps Maci Bookout realized that she hadn't been sharing too much about her private life recently as she decided to post a picture of herself and her dad. In this photo, she reveals that he is the best father and they were celebrating his birthday together.
"Happy Birthday to everyone's go to guy, the man with the biggest heart and wittiest one liners, and best of all my daddy! You tha best!" Maci wrote.
It is possible that he’s very proud of his daughter for raising three children and using the MTV platform to make money, even if it means sharing promotional products on a social media pages.
According to a new Instagram post, Maci Bookout reveals that she has the best father and she's very happy that she gets to call him dad.
She also allowed fans to get inside glimpse of her life as she has been very private on her social media pages.
It is possible that she wants to keep her children as protected as possible, as she knows the entire MTV fan base can be very aggressive and very mean. This has been seen time and again with her co-stars, including Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, and all the other "Teen Mom" stars in the franchise.
Break from reunion
Bookout may have needed some family time after the dramatic "Teen Mom OG" reunion with Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie. During the season, Maci learned that Ryan had married Mackenzie despite her knowing that he had a drug problem. Mackenzie had tried to turn off the cameras while filming and while Ryan was using drugs and driving a vehicle.
When she thought the cameras had been taking down, she asked him if he had been taking Xanax again. He denied having done so but he was in rehab at the time of the reunion special. Maci was furious, as Mackenzie felt that she was exploiting the situation and making Ryan look like a bad father. Maci could only laugh about this as she had done everything in her power to get professional help in how to handle the situation. Despite having good intentions, Maci was seen as a bad mother to Bentley. One can hope she has recovered from the horrible reunion special.
