Lydia Mclaughlin knows that she's done having children as she has three sons with her husband, Doug McLaughlin. When Lydia was filming previous seasons of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," she revealed that she wanted to have another baby. Her husband had hoped for a daughter, but they got pregnant and had a third son. Despite having three children, Doug still wanted to try for a daughter, as he really wants a baby girl.

However, Lydia McLaughlin isn't exactly excited about the idea of having another baby. On "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Lydia is now requesting that her husband have a vasectomy so they can have sex without the fear of getting pregnant.

While he wanted another baby, Lydia was done. According to a new Bravo report, Lydia McLaughlin is now explaining that she is happy that her husband went to the consultation, so they don't have to worry about becoming pregnant.

No more kids

Of course, Lydia McLaughlin and her husband were not sure about whether they would have a fourth child. Lydia claimed she was done, but if her husband really wanted another baby, she may be open to it. While she may have hoped that her husband would be done, she could possibly agree to it if her marriage hung in the balance. As she explains in her Bravo blog, McLaughlin knew it was a big decision to make.

"This is a big decision and something neither of us take lightly.

We love our family of three boys and we both know that our family feels complete. Neither of us knew what to expect at the appointment, but the doctor was so gracious with us and answered all of our questions," Lydia McLaughlin explains in her Bravo blog.

At present time, it doesn't sound like they will have more kids even though Lydia is young enough to have that baby girl her husband wants.

Too pushy with her husband

When Lydia McLaughlin was filming "The Real Housewives of Orange County," she sounded a little pushy. She didn't really ask him about his perspective or thoughts about the whole procedure. She merely told him that he needed to make time for the procedure, so they didn't get pregnant. She didn't offer to get her tubes tied or take birth control until he was ready to do it himself.

Fans thought it was a bit pushy of her to demand this, but he obliged.

What do you think of Lydia McLaughlin's comments about her husband's decision to get a vasectomy? Do you think she should give him the daughter he's always wanted before he goes through with the procedure?
