Jenner has been famous for sporting her pouty lips that are plumped-up in a nicely done manner that will make fans think it is natural. But the truth about these lips goes beyond the desire of altering her image or commercial purposes.

The 20-year-old model has been the brand ambassador and image model behind famous brands such as Victoria’s Secret. Today, she has also been associated with a renowned lipstick brand.

The story behind her lip injections

Kylie Jenner told Marie Claire that the prime reason why she decided to go into lip injections is “because a boy judged her kissing skills.” She added that ever since the guy commented about the way she kissed, it has affected her. She noted how she suddenly felt not “desirable or pretty.”

“I really wanted bigger lips. I ended up getting my lips done,” the celebrity revealed. She recalled how a man she kissed before commented that she was a “really good kisser,” but they were disturbed about the small size of her lips. Since then, she became conscious of herself and felt like men always wanted to stare at her lips.

There were also moments when she felt like no person wanted to kiss her lips. However, the magazine pointed out that with or without these injections, Jenner would always be beautiful.

Successful lipstick brand

Kylie Jenner may be younger than most of her sisters in the Kardashian-Jenner clan but her drive for success is highly noticeable.

WWD recently unveiled her million-dollar makeup company Kylie Cosmetics, which earned around $420 million in sales in less than two years.

The business began by selling lipstick for $29, but the business is projected to earn around $1 billion in lifetime sales according to forecasts reported in WWD. In fact, when her 2016 holiday collection was launched in November last year, it reportedly made almost $19 million on that day alone.

Even her sister Kim Kardashian has her own makeup brand named KKW Beauty that also competes with Jenner’s brand. She is aware of the competition, but she is not very concerned about this. WWD added that she even collaborated with Kardashian’s makeup line to provide these products to a wider market.
