In a new interview with T Singapore (The New York Times Style Magazine Singapore), Kim Kardashian West talked about how her life has changed after the robbery incident in Paris in 2016.

A year ago, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star was robbed and held at gunpoint by two men in Paris. The robbers knew the whereabouts of the selfie queen through her social media posts and updates. Those thieves masquerading as Paris police officials broke into her hotel room and robbed her of $10 million worth of jewelry.

That terrifying experience made her realized some life lessons and transformed her into a different person she is today.

Kim's life priority

According to T Magazine, the incident helped Kardashian West to better distinguish her life priorities. Above all the choices, her top priority is her kids now.

“My whole world is my [children], it’s all I care about...," she told the magazine. Kim is very busy in every last thing that her kids do, or to what they wear and to all their activities. She doesn't have as much time to hang out with her friends anymore because she wants to be with her kids. "I love being their mom," she added.

As for her social media life, it also has taken a different path as well. She's more careful about what she wants to show to her audience and no more real-time updates on where she is.

Kim Kardashian West, 36, is a mother of four-year-old daughter North and two-year-old son Saint.

Rapper-husband Kayne West is the father. Recently it was reported that the couple is expecting a third child via surrogate.

She is one of the highest-earning reality TV personalities today

Kim Kardashian West was number 47 in the list of Forbes 2017 Celebrity 100 for earnings.

According to Forbes, despite the robbery incident in 2016 and social media blackout that caused withdrawals of digital endorsement, Kim Kardashian West still earned a lot money.

Her earnings in 2017 dropped $5.5 million from 2016’s total. Her 2017 total income was $45.5 million. Her income was reinforced by merchandise from her Kimoji app, income from her family's reality TV show, and a lipstick collection with Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics.

While the revenue from her "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood Game" slowed down, Kim continued to expand elsewhere.

Recently, Kim Kardashian West and husband Kayne West launched a kids clothing line. It is an online-only kidswear labeled "The Kids Supply," with limited stocks released monthly. This new venture is fun and exciting for her because it is for the kids.
