Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sparked controversy on Facebook. What was the incendiary? They wished their pedophile son and his wife Anna Duggar a "happy anniversary" as Josh Duggar goes to court over his incest. The ex "19 Kids and Counting" stars also showed the adultery-ridden couple's wedding picture and Reality TV fans lost it.
'Counting On' fans divided over wedding pic
What seemed innocent, turned septic for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. The "19 Kids and Counting" couple posted anniversary blessings on their Duggar Family Facebook page to Josh and Anna accompanied by a wedding photo.
Many reality television fans happily congratulated the couple on staying married after infidelity. Others found the anniversary post hypocritical and hurtful.
Fans cast stones at Duggar critics
"Counting On" supporters proclaimed that God had forgiven Josh his pedophilia, sexual assault, molestation, incest, cheating, porn addiction, stripper mistress, Ashley Madison accounts and sex addiction. They said that anyone who questioned that was being judgmental and casting stones at the "19 Kids and Counting" star. Ironically, some of them did some judging and rock-throwing saying that "haters" were unChristian and disobeying God.
Duggar lawsuit questions Josh's recovery
The oldest of "19 Kids and Counting" went to rehab and promised recovery.
But many wonder how when the reality TV star left before completing treatment. They say the fact that Josh is suing police for his incest shows he's still blaming. That the victimizer feels entitled to damages for "victimization" shows he's not taking responsibility. "Counting On" critics are further concerned about his blatant lack of remorse.
Incest privacy suit shows Duggar's lack of contrition
Duggar was "Counting On" joining molested sisters Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth in their lawsuit. The ex "19 Kids and Counting" star accuses police of failing to keep his pedophilia secret. He's seeking thousands in damages.
Fans see that as proof he's devious, money-hungry and not even sorry.
City officials call Duggars 'misguided' and greedy
Whether the Almighty has forgiven Josh for his sex crimes wasn't the biggest problem for some "Counting On" viewers. It's the exploitation of Anna Duggar, the children and maybe even the entire sex scandal by the Duggar family. Folks love dirty laundry and reality television show ratings show it. The city of Springdale Ark. and Washington County said the "19 Kids and Counting" girls are suing them for quick cash.
Duggar family scammers?
The Celebrities say their lawsuit is about victim protection. But they're suing for financial damages on several nebulous claims. This suggests scamming for money. Derick Dillard was just busted for running a for-profit fundraiser scam on a charity site. Dillard Family Ministries has also had issues with transparency and charitable funds misuse.
