Anna Faris has found comfort and support from her "Mom" co-stars after she announced her split from Chris Pratt last month. In a joint statement released on social media, the celebrity couple confirmed they were going separate ways after eight years of being married.

Faris and Pratt stun fans with separation announcement

The "Take Me Home Tonight" pair, who share a five-year-old son, said they have tried to save the marriage and admitted that both of them were "really disappointed" of how things turned out between them. Despite the separation, the estranged couple promised to stay committed in co-parenting their child.

Not much has been said about the separation which has fueled a lot of speculations among fans. Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, however, wished to keep the separation a private matter and asked that the public respect the privacy of their family.

Shortly after the split was announced, the "Scary Movie" alum seemingly addressed the issue in her "Unqualified" podcast where she thanked her supporters for the outpouring of support. The 40-year-old actress also discussed a fan's relationship concern and made a reference of her past experience.

"Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn’t fully right or somebody doesn’t have your back, or somebody doesn’t fully value you,” she said.

Anna Faris then advised her listeners to enjoy their independence and to know their value in a relationship. Chris Pratt, on the other hand, refused to give a comment on the separation.

Faris gets by with a little help for her 'Mom' co-stars

Meanwhile, Allison Janney lauded her "Mom" co-star for proving that she is a woman of courage in the wake of the separation.

In her interview with Entertainment Online, the seven-time Primetime Emmy Award winner revealed how they have been treating Anna Faris since the announcement.

"She has so much love and support on the set of "Mom." She's a very courageous and strong girl and very professional and love her so much, as do[es] everyone," she explained.

Allison Janney went on and said that she and her "Mom" co-stars love the former couple that all of them were saddened when they heard the unfortunate news of their separation. Regardless of what happened between Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, the 57-year-old actress has nothing but love for the two and promised to support them in their future endeavors.

According to multiple sources, the couple are reportedly in couples therapy in hopes to work through their marital issues. Neither of the two, however, has yet to confirm nor deny this report at the time being.
