Diverse family

Angelina Jolie is raising children coming from diverse backgrounds. She has six children, three of whom were adopted and the other three are her biological children. Shiloh is among her biological children with estranged husband, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.

One of her daughters Vivienne was also seen holding hands with Sareum Srey Moch, a child actress who is portraying a role in movie “First They Killed My Father.” Jolie directed this movie, and it tells the story of a Cambodian human rights activist, US Weekly reported.

Movie premiere

Angelina Jolie produced “The Breadwinner," a film based on relevant events that have transpired in the Middle East. It is headlined by a young girl named Parvana, 11, who comes from Afghanistan. Described as a feminist movie, "The Breadwinner" features Parvana as she changes her image to a boy after the Taliban forces arrest her father.

She will go on an adventure to find out about her father's arrest, and thereby support her own family.

South Asian actress Saara Chaudry, who was born and grew up in Canada, plays the main role.

Jolie, who also works with various humanitarian campaigns and projects, revealed to US Weekly how she is passionate about the story of “The Breadwinner.” The movie is based on a best-selling novel that depicted the oppression and conflict in the Middle East.

Strong woman

Just like the character in the movie she produced, Jolie herself is a prime example of a strong woman. Her interview with The Telegraph revealed how she has battled with her health challenges.

The actress underwent a double mastectomy medical procedure in 2013, and also went through an ovarian removal procedure. She also shared that she has been encountering new health issues earlier this year, as she has been diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and hypertension. Despite this, she goes on pursuing her dreams and supporting her family.
