Luann D'Agostino kept defending her husband, saying he was a good man. But it sounds like she may have caught him doing something bad, as Luann announced this morning that she and Tom would be divorcing.

It was just a week ago that she made headlines for supposedly slapping him in public and causing trouble in the media. Many people suspected that the marriage wouldn't last because he was causing so much trouble in his relationship. Shockingly, it is D'Agostino who is announcing her decision to divorce Tom just eight months after getting married.

On "The Real Housewives of New York," Luann has constantly defended Tom and she kept saying how in love they were. Just a few weeks ago, she went on "Watch What Happens Live," where she explained that all of the rumors about them splitting up or having troubles were fake. According to a new tweet, Luann D'Agostino is now revealing that she's sad about the divorce news and that she still has feelings for him.

'I told you so'

This is the divorce that everyone saw coming. Luann D'Agostino had received so many warnings about dating Tom that she probably couldn't count them all. In the beginning, all of her "Real Housewives of New York" co-stars warned her about getting married to him but she was so excited about it.

While Ramona Singer has reached out to Luann to share her sadness over the news, many feel that she wants to say "I told you so."

In fact, many of her "Real Housewives of New York" followers have warned her about Tom and they all told her that she would probably not be happy in the marriage.

While Sonja kept listing off the women he had been linked to, Ramona kept saying she knew things she didn't want to say.

However, many fans of the show are now revealing on Twitter that the divorce was predictable.

Did Tom want fame?

Luann D'Agostino hasn't revealed why she and Thomas D'Agostino decided to divorce but many people are speculating that it is probably because he cheated.

He has been linked to several women and her co-stars warned her several times about his cheating ways.

So, why did he go through with the wedding? Is it possible that he wants fame from the show? Is it possible that he wanted money from Bravo? He has personally revealed that he does truly love her and wanted to marry her. He may not have realized just what she was expecting.

What do you think about Luann D'Agostino's tweet about the divorce? Are you surprised that Tom D'Agostino isn't speaking out?
