“Star Wars” toys revealed another major leak about the coming “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” As Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is recently revealed to have his new ship called TIE Silencer, his master Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) will also be having his new craft.
As the Force Friday, which is about to happen on Sept. 1, is getting nearer, a lot of merchandises connected into the upcoming movie are about to be revealed. In fact, there’s one that linked the Supreme Leader of the First Order's name to a vessel called Mega Star Destroyer.
The new ship of the First Order
Star Wars News Net revealed a list of toys’ partial leaked image that might be revealed at the coming Force Friday.
The catalog includes “BB-8 Mega Star Destroyer with Supreme Leader Snoke and Elite Praetorian Guard” that costs $199.99. However, there is no photo indicated how this ship looks like, thus a lot of fans wonder its connection to “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
BB-8 might have a new mission
According to Slash Film, the thought that this toy includes Supreme Leader Snoke and his Elite Praetorian Guards could mean that the Force Leader will be wandering the galaxy in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
This might be far from what fans saw in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” where the Force-sensitive humanoid alien was just seen sitting in one place and seen through a hologram.
However, as the toy’s description includes BB-8’s name, it is now a big question what this android is doing on the ship.
In the eighth episode’s clips, BB-8 is seen together with Finn (John Boyega) and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran). They will be on a mission to find something on the new planet of Canto Bight, a gambling city on the galaxy.
As BB-8 is said to be on Mega Star Destroyer, the droid might be on another mission to go undercover and watch the First Order’s moves against the Resistance.
The ship’s official name
Meanwhile, it is not yet revealed if Mega Star Destroyer will be the official name of Supreme Leader Snoke’s new ship in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer is officially called “Sienar Jaemus TIE/VN Space Superiority Fighter,” but it is too long to put on a box, so it is shortened.
Thus, there is a big possibility that the name of the main villain’s ship is also just a shortened title of what it is really called. Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to confirm this theory, so fans should only take these assumptions with a grain of salt.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to hit the theaters on Dec. 13.
