The release of "Outlander" Season 3 is set on Sept. 10 wherein fans of the Starz series will get a glimpse of their favorite stars Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan). With the release date nearing, there are many teasers and trailer videos that hint about what will happen to the show's power couple.

Fans of the show are aware that before the beginning of the battle, Claire is reunited with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies). Because of this, she left Jamie behind in the past while she resides in the future. But what will happen in season 3?

Will Jamie and Claire cross paths again?

The big battle begins

The new season will start with the Battle of Culloden between the Britsh and the Highlanders. During the fight, it is the first time for Jamie and villain Black Jack to clash their swords. This makes the show worth watching especially for fans of the series who wanted to see the two men face off.

If the prediction of Claire is true, this fight could be the last between the love of her life and Black Jack. What will happen to Jamie? Will Black Jack survive the battle?

Jamie and Claire faces difficult separation

Many witnessed how much Jamie and Claire love each other. They have a baby girl named Brianna which Claire takes care of while she is in the US.

A teaser features Claire smiling while pushing a stroller in the park. It appears that she is happy without Jamie now. But is she really happy?

Meanwhile, Jamie is in prison and is seen marching along with other prisoners. One teaser revealed that Jamie is reminiscing about Claire. He said that he never loved anyone but only Claire and that he is willing to give up everything so that they can be together again.

As for Claire, she is also having a hard time moving on. In a short trailer, she told Frank that she cannot go through it again since it is too painful for her.

Despite their separation, the two will definitely end up seeing each other again.

Fans are looking forward to seeing their Print Shop reunion. But it appears that it will be seen after several episodes. Fans also reacted to the heartbreaking teasers wherein some admitted that they cried seeing the two apart from each other.

"Outlander" Season 3 will include 13 episodes. It is based on the third book “Voyager,” of Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling "Outlander" series. The show is developed for Starz by executive producer Ronald D. Moore. Stay tuned.
