Hollywood film Avatar, which was released in 2009 had surpassed all films in terms of visual effects, design, and storyline. James Cameron directed film even made around 2.79 billion dollars at the box office and was highly appreciated by everyone. It is also the maximum money any film has made so far. The film had won 9 Academy awards in 2010 with the special one being the Best Picture award. Recently, the reports of Avatar 2 were doing rounds and James Cameron had also confirmed Avatar 2, 3 and 4.

Avatar 2 might come soon, reports

Avatar 2 is in the cards and it was also finalized that Cameron would be working with Weta Digital for the much-appreciated Visual effects of the much-awaited sequel.

And as per the reports, Cameron and his team have already begun working on the visual effects of the upcoming sequel. The reports initially confirmed that Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are expected to replay their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri in the upcoming sequel. Not only them, but Sigourney Weaver, who plays the role of Dr. Grace Augustine, and Stephen Lang, who portrays Colonel Miles Quatrich, are also said to be appearing in the “Avatar 2. And now making the fans happier, even Matt Gerald has officially signed the sequel of the film.

Rumored cast and plot

Matt Gerald will reprise his role of Corporal Lyle Wainfleet joining the other star cast of the film. Meanwhile, the sequel will also have two newcomers in the film.

Cliff Curtis and Oona Chaplin are the new members to join the cast of Avatar 2. The shooting of the film will begin shortly and it will be out on December 18, 2020. And after the second sequel, the other sequels will come into play in Christmas seasons of 2021, 2024 and 2025. However, the work on the visual effects of the film has already started and James Cameron is all set to leave us in splits with Avatar 2.

Matt Gerald has also joined the show 'The Oath as Kivlinsky.' It is scheduled to debut next year and is currently in the production stage in Puerto Rico. He will also be seen in New Line’s Rampage, with Dwayne Johnson, Netflix’s Will Smith starred Bright and the Los Angeles Film Festival title Shot Caller, which hits theatres August 18.
