Another big show DC fans are hoping to see is Season 3 of “Legends of tomorrow.” Following the broken timeline, the team has a lot of fixing to do. And like the previous seasons, doing that will not come easy.

The show won’t be complete of course without knowing who the Legends will be up against. The word out is that one member of the Legion Of Doom will be returning – Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). While most know he is supernaturally gifted, it seems he will carry a more intense role next season.

When will Darhk come in?

There is no mention yet on when Darhk will return though it will likely come at some point when the order is restored on the timeline.

Though not considered as the villain, the first obstacle the Legends will have to deal with is actually Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his Time Bureau.

That could eat up a couple of episodes as the team tries to fix the aberrations that they created. Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) will be put to the test once more, leading the team of gifted heroes once again. Assuming it is time for Darkh to come in, what will be the impact? Will his threat be limited to the "Legends of Tomorrow"? Or will it radiate to other shows where another round of crossover episodes are expected?

Arrowverse connection

Fans closely following the CW series know for a fact that Darhk is best known for his dastardly deeds with Oliver Queen/ Arrow (Stephen Amell) and company.

Sara still wants revenge on Darhk, who killed her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy), meaning there will be a lot to digest.

That was the objective of Sara in Season 3, wanting to kill the black magic-backed villain. She was persuaded by her teammates of the repercussions and such is expected once again next season. If and once that happens, viewers may want to monitor the developments on the other shows as well.

Aside from “Arrow”, there is also “Flash” and “Supergirl" in the mix. With the aliens plot over and done with, the crossover will reportedly be more intimate and may dig deep to affect all main cast members.

Aside from Sara and Ollie, there is also the romance between Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano). Amaya continues to stay with the team despite the fact that she is from another timeline.

Will it lead to a heartbreaking end?

With a couple of months to go, the plot for CW shows continues to thicken. The following weeks should bring more revelations so make sure to check back for updates. “Legends of Tomorrow” season 3 returns on Oct. 10 on The CW.
