When "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 resumes this fall, expect a whole new drama in the lives of the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Battling their own personal demons, the catastrophe that happened in last season's final episode is expected to highlight the upcoming season's primary episodes. Additionally, the arrival of new and recurring characters could be the season's game changer for the long running ABC medical drama series.

According to the latest report by Pop Culture, the return of Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) at the Grey Sloan hospital will reveal something important about Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd) long lost sister Megan (Bridget Regan).

Moreover, an old issue between Owen and Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) may also come up after the former subtly blamed Riggs on the disappearance of her sister.

Spoilers, new characters and more

As far as "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 is concerned, the issue between Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) is again challenged by the arrival of Jo's ex-husband. Unfortunately, this is the secret ex-husband that Jo has hidden from Alex and the reason why he ended up with a lawsuit. Jo's husband, Dr. Paul Stadler (Matthew Morrison) is also expected to play a bigger role in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) and Eliza Minnick's (Marika Dominzyck) relationship is becoming more unclear after the latter was fired from the hospital.

The scene happened in last season's final episode, giving fans a cliffhanger ending for the two doctor's much-anticipated love story. Interestingly, while fans wanted Robbins to find her true love after Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) left, most of them are not fond of the level-headed and straightforward Minnick.

In a similar news, the show will also feature new comer Jaina Lee Ortiz ("Rosewood").

According to the Deadline, Ortiz will play the female lead role of firefighters responding to the fire that occurred at the Grey's Memorial Hospital. While no other details were given about the Rosewood alum, the 10-episode spin-off will likely describe her presence in the scene.
