The next episode of "Game of Thrones" will finally be closer to answering what fans have always suspected. Sam Tarly (John Bradley-West) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) will be able to confirm the parentage of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) after they discover some documents in the Old Town.
Sam Tarly and Gilly are shown going through some books and papers in the Old Town in the teaser via Independent for "Game of Thrones" season 7 episode 5 called "Eastwatch." Sam being Sam -- a voracious reader -- will likely pick up on important details about Jon Snow's real parents in the documents he is reading.
But a spoiler posted on a fan site called Green Chili, which had been gathering details from among the production people during filming, stated that the crucial detail will be first pointed out to Sam by Gilly.
What will Gilly uncover?
If the "Game of Thrones" spoilers are true, then Gilly will supposedly find a record of Rhaegar Targaryen's annulment of his marriage to Elia Martell. But Gilly, who is still learning to read, won't be able to properly say Rhaegar's name, so Sam won't be able to pick up on it right away.
Sam Tarly and Gilly will eventually leave the Old Town for Winterfell, knowing that Jon Snow is there.
But the spoiler site informed that the bastard's biggest secret won't be made known to Jon Snow until the season finale of "Game of Thrones" season 7.
By then, Sam Tarly will get more confirmation from Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), the Three-Eyed Raven, that his dear friend the King in the North isn't a bastard.
What will the Three-Eyed Raven see?
Following Rhaegar Targaryen's annulment, Bran the Three-Eyed Raven will flashback to the Prince's secret marriage to Lyanna Stark.
The wedding scene, however, is brief and the spoiler site surmised that filming had been discreet hence the actors' casting on "Game of Thrones" weren't leaked. The wedding scene is also likened to the simple wedding of Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and Talisa (Oona Chaplin) in "Game of Thrones" season 3.
As fans have already guessed after “Game of Thrones” season 6's flashbacks, Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark are Jon Snow's real parents.
An interview from Isaac Hempstead on Empire Magazine was published before the premiere of this season's "Game of Thrones." In it, the actor dished that Jon Snow's real name is Jaerhys Targaryen.

Will Jon and Daenrys finally know?
All throughout "Game of Thrones" season 7 Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen has had sexual tension and the season will end with a hint that the two will consummate their relationship in bed. Unfortunately, the spoiler site also stated that they won't found out they are related until the final season of the series in 2018.
