Fredrik Eklund is excited about trying to have a baby once more after taking some time off. While filming “Million Dollar Listing: New York” last year, Fredrik was told that the second and third attempt at having a child had not worked out for him. He was completely devastated, and he wanted to stop the entire process. He revealed that he wanted to focus on work and forget about his dream of becoming a father.
But his husband, Derek Kaplan, didn’t want to give up so easily. He revealed that he wanted to keep going and Fredrik asked him to take the lead.
Derek was now responsible for all contact with the doctors and so forth, as Eklund couldn’t bear to lose another baby before he even got to celebrate the pregnancy.
The love is still going strong
According to a new Bravo report, Fredrik Eklund is now revealing that the love for his husband is still going strong after seven years together. They met when Fredrik was filming the first season of “Million Dollar Listing: New York.” Derek was briefly featured in the final episode of the show, and they got married during the show’s third season.
When Fredrik Eklund talks about his husband, it is clear that he is completely infatuated with him. It sounds like Derek wants the best for his husband as well, so this is a match made in heaven.
While Eklund runs around the streets of New York selling real-estate, Derek is a professional artist who has found tremendous success in the big city.
"We went to dinner last night, we were drinking wine, and I was looking at him in, like, profile, his blond hair and his face, he's so freakin' handsome, like an angel. Is that weird?
After seven years, that's pretty amazing. I hope he does feel the same way,” Fredrik told Bravo about his husband. While Fredrik himself was too emotional to deal with another heartbreak, his husband seemed ready to try again.
Pregnant or not?
On the previous episode of “Million Dollar Listing: New York,” Derek told Fredrik that he had some news about the pregnancy and the journey to having a baby.
The episode ended before he could share the news, but fans are excited to learn what that news could be. The answer may be revealed during Thursday’s episode of the show, as this is the season finale. Surely, his fans will be thrilled for him if he is indeed going to be a father.
