“Flip or Flop” celebs Tarek and Christina El Moussa are teaming up to develop a new HGTV program, the Daily Mail reports. The new program will mark a continuing relationship between the “Flip or Flop” stars and the former couple. In 2016, after a well-publicized domestic issue, Tarek and El Moussa confirmed their separation after six years of marriage, but they are producing the new episodes of the HGTV show, which may premiere this December.
Their collaboration for a new series
Despite their differences, Tarek and Christina El Moussa are still together for a new series.
When Celebrity Insider asked how he and his wife have been dealing with the media attention since their separation, Tarek El Moussa said, “I am always looking for growth.” For him, continuing to work with Christina has been one of the toughest decisions of his life. They are together for the sake of their kids and a few television shows. As for “Chi-Town Flip,” which follows a Chicago-based couple, El Moussa says that production is harder than appearing on camera. It looks like every episode will be set in Chicago where houses are flipped. You should watch the pilot to see if the two stars are as good behind the camera as producers as they are in front of it.
His real estate career
The Celebrity Insider sheds light on the personal life and real estate career of Tarek El Moussa.
Christina was raised in Anaheim Hills, and Tarek grew up in California. The celebrity earned his real estate license at the age of 21. He met Christina while working as a real estate agent. It took them very little time to go from living in a luxury home to a $600 per month apartment. They have two kids together: Taylor Reese and Brayden James.
In May 2016, it was reported that Tarek and Christina El Moussa had separated their ways as things were not working out for them. Earlier this year, Tarek filed for divorce from his wife Christina.
Their real estate company, The El Moussa Group, is situated in Orange County, California. Despite their marital status, Tarek and Christina continue to expand their real estate business by investing in New York, Nevada, and Arizona properties.
In “Flip or Flop,”Tarek and Christina play husband and wife. Christina's expertise is primarily in design, and she works with Tarek to renovate homes. She handles a variety of projects and tries to keep everything on schedule. The series follows them as they buy, renovate and resell homes within and outside the city.
