‘Poldark’ Season 3 concluded on a touching note last month. Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) was seen reuniting with her husband, Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) after a secret, romantic rendezvous with Lieutenant Hugh Armitage (Josh Whitehouse). Just as when the fans were wondering as to whether this marks the end of the road for “Poldark” TV series, producers announced that the show’s next instalment is underway.

A new season will soon be aired

As reported by Express, production company Mammoth Screen took to their official Instagram account to post a series of teasers, hinting a new “Poldark” season.

In one particular image, the entire cast of the show was seen sitting around the table. The 360-degree image even consisted of Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson – the most looked-up-to couple on television. Fans can check out more images on Mammoth Screen’s official Instagram account.

Another report by Mobipicker claims that the fifth season will now focus on Ross’ objective of establishing a firm ground in politics. Towards the beginning of the fourth season, right after being cheated by his wife, Ross was shattered. After much persuasion, he decided to work towards his life-long goal of contributing for his nation. Soon enough, he became the people’s hero and started getting more involved in the greater good.

The season spiralled off to his romantic relationship with disloyal wife, Demelza, therefore; his political career took a backseat.

Production will begin soon

According to a report by Digital Spy, Aidan Turner recently confirmed that the filming of "Poldark" season 5 is scheduled to begin in September. He further stated that the cast and crew members had been summoned to arrive in the South West region of Cornwall, England.

Therefore, it is safe to assume that the filming is going to take place in England. He also stated that they would be travelling throughout the filming of the entire season, visiting places like Wiltshire, Bristol and Somerset.

Season 4 will be seen taking on actors like Christian Brassington (Reverend Osborne Whitworth), Ruby Bentall (Verity Blamey), Elise Chappel (Morwenna Whitworth), Sean Gilder (Tholly Tregirls), Jack Farthing (George Warleggan), Luke Norris (Dr.

Dwight Enys) apart from the main characters, Aidan Turner (Ross Poldark) and Eleanor Tomlinson (Demelza Poldar).

The showrunners are apparently ardent about getting the fourth season ready this year itself so that they could officially premiere it in the summer of 2018.
