Avenger: Infinity War” director Joe Russo reveals that some of the scenes will take place on Earth, while others will be set in space. We know that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to an end with the release of “Infinity War” and its untitled sequel in 2019. Twenty-two films and ten years after the story arc first started in 2008, Earth’s most powerful superheroes will fight Thanos over control of Gauntlet and Infinity Stones.

Thanos in space

Until now, we have seen that Thanos lives in space lording over his underlings like Ronan, Loki, Nebula, and Gamora.

He aims to collect the magical stones and rocks. By the end of “Avengers: Age Of Ultron,” Thanos will come down to Earth to collect more stones for himself. Here, on Earth, he will fight Bruce, Thor, Clint, Peter, Wanda, Stephen and other superheroes. Russo told Comic Book Movie that “Avenger: Infinity War” would bounce around between some narratives to tell the whole story. Some of its scenes will reportedly be shot on Earth, while others will take place in space.

How much will 'Avengers: Infinity Wars' be in space?

So far, we have seen dozens of images and videos for the movie, but there’s no information about how much “Avenger: Infinity War” takes place on Earth. To this, Joe Russo said that several action sequences would be shot on Earth, while a lot of scenes would be held in space.
