During the same month, Zayn and Gigi made things official by holding hands while exiting The Nice Guy club together. New reports are claiming that the duo is now ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Gigi’s mom calls Zayn ‘family’
Yolanda Hadid shared a photo of her daughter, Gigi Hadid, and Zayn Malik via Instagram on Wednesday, August 30.
“❤Summer Loving……. #Family,” the 53-year-old reality star wrote in the caption.
The photo caption instantly caught the attention of many fans and sparked engagement rumors. A few followers of the couple speculated that Yolanda already considers Zayn a part of their brood.
There are even rumors claiming that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are probably considering getting married after almost two years of dating. The duo has undeniably grown together as a couple despite their on-again, off-again relationship.
In June 2016, Zayn and Gigi reportedly ended their romance. Speculations suggest that the couple broke up since they did not have enough time to bond with each other due to their hectic schedules.
However, Gigi Hadid was spotted wearing her “Z” necklace in West Hollywood three days later. To further quash the split rumors, Zayn Malik and the Victoria’s Secret model stepped out together again with Taylor Swift in New York a month later.
While these engagement reports could possibly be true, neither Zayn Malik nor Gigi Hadid has confirmed anything as of yet.

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik sent his fans into a frenzy when he posted a mysterious clip on his social media accounts. The said video featured Gigi Hadid’s boyfriend sitting in the dark, about to unlock a briefcase.
The teaser ended with the sound of a gunshot and flashed up the words “Coming Soon.” Because of this, fans cannot help but speculate that Zayn is hinting that his sophomore solo album will hit record stores soon.
Gigi Hadid’s beau previously revealed to VMAN Magazine that his forthcoming album is more ordered than the first one.
“I feel like the songs are a bit more organized, where I felt like, before, that ‘Mind of Mine’ was a brainstorm,” Zayn revealed.
“This one is more thought out,” said the former bandmate of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Zayn added that he spent time processing everything and described his imminent album as an evolution.
