Millions of fans were pleased after it was reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce was off. However, recent reports are claiming that the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith" stars are still moving forward with their split despite the slow development.
Jolie and Pitt still divorcing despite reconciliation reports
Gossip Cop debunked the claims saying that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce is not happening anymore. Rumors have it that the A-list Hollywood stars have decided not to pursue the split for the time being.
An E! News source claimed that several things have changed since Jolie filed for divorce.
The same insider revealed that Pitt has been trying to win back his wife by improving his disposition.
While it was not confirmed that the couple is up for a reconciliation, the same source stated that the chance is very high right now. The tipster added that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are trying to take things slowly as they do not want to regret in the end.
However, Gossip Cop stood firm and claimed the couple is not reconsidering anything. A tipster close to the couple even revealed to the publication that the divorce process is still moving forward.
Couple reportedly rekindling their friendship amid divorce
To recall, Jolie cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason why she decided to file for divorce.
In September 2016, the “Maleficent” star asked for a sole custody of their kids, Shiloh, 11, Zahara, 12, Pax, 13, Maddox, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9.
Angelina Jolie was granted custody of the children in December 2016 while Brad Pitt was only given visitation rights. The “Troy” actor also agreed to undergo random alcohol and drug testing as part of his weekly therapy sessions, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
"It's not as tense as it had been... They recently started talking again and it's a significant step. Up until now, everything was through lawyers and assistants,” an unnamed tipster told E! News in March 2017. It was also reported that the “Allied” actor spend Father’s Day with Jolie and their kids in Los Angeles, California.
It was also reported that Brad Pitt spent time with the family in Cambodia while Angelina Jolie was filming the controversial “First They Killed My Father” movie.
