Shia LaBeouf, known best for his leading role in “Transformers,” was arrested for Public Drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and obstruction on Saturday in the state of Georgia, according to a police report.

Released on bond

It was around 4 in the morning in Savannah, Georgia when Shia was taken into custody for a number of different charges which many believe stemmed from the fact that the young actor was drunk. LaBeouf was later released from the Chatham County Detention Center after he posted the $7,000 bond.

What happened

According to the Georgia police, LaBeouf approached both a police officer and a bystander and asked if he could have a cigarette.

The police report – and witnesses – reveal he became disorderly and begun to use vulgar language when neither the bystander or the police officer granted him a cigarette.

The officer told the “Transformers” star to leave the area. This was the moment when Shia became agitated and refused to leave. The officer attempted to arrest the actor only for the actor to attempt to flee to a hotel close-by. LaBeouf ended up being arrested by officers in the lobby of the hotel he fled to only to continue his disorderly conduct.

Several media outlets have reached out to LaBeouf’s publicist and his manager for a statement about what had happened. As of yet, they have yet to get a response. As most know, Shia is currently in Savannah because he is filming a movie with Bruce Dern and Dakota Johnson.

This isn’t the first time

Unfortunately, this isn’t even the first time the “Transformers” star has had trouble with cops. This actually isn’t even the first time he’s had a run-in with the law this year. In January, he got arrested after getting into a fight with a man in New York at an art exhibit. He was also arrested in 2015 in the state of Texas for being Drunk In Public and got a DUI in California back in 2008.

In 2014, the actor also pleads guilty to a count of disorderly conduct. As part of the plea agreement, Shia did receive alcohol abuse treatment. Given the fact that the “Transformers” actor has once again gotten drunk and acted out in public, it would appear as if the treatment didn’t work so well.

Media outlets reveal a woman from Savannah claims to have been at the City Market and witnessed the incident involving the “Transformers” actor first hand.

According to Tiffany Utley, she was at the City Market with her sister, as well as her two sons. She was having a conversation with a police officer as well as an out of town couple when the actor approached her and asked for a cigarette.

While the woman from Savannah was anxious to get her sister and sons away from the incident as she didn’t know what was going to happen, she reveals she has forgiven LaBeouf for what has happened. According to the bystander, the actor is only human and it wasn’t like he hurt anyone.
