A lot of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” book covers are revealed at the recent San Diego Comic-Con 2017. These books have a connection to the upcoming movie, and it prettily contains spoilers and more secrets about the film.
From Stormtroopers to the cast members, it tells the stories behind these characters, the new additions, and the new friendships brewing. For instance, there will be a new trooper coming in the movie’s eighth episode.
The new stormtrooper
The new kind of Stormtrooper is first seen in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” behind-the-scenes- reel.
However, the new sticker book gives a closer look to the new troop of the Galactic Empire.
The elite soldier now has an upgraded vibro-ax, a black stripe on its helmet, and black shoulder pads. According to Comic Book, the vibro-ax is now added to the soldiers’ weapon to fight off the lightsaber. It is specially designed to wrestle close quarter combats.
The arm also can open and close, so it could be used to disarm the enemies using energy-based weapons. Additionally, the black stripes added on its helmet and shoulder pads are put to make a distinction from the rest of the Stormtroopers. However, it is not yet revealed if these troopers are going to be more elite or will have additional special classifications.
Stars, droids, ships in the movie
Aside from the book stickers, the DK children’s book also features Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) on the cover.
Thus, some believe that it will tell how the three’s friendship has been formed in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Apart from it, fans attention has been caught by the new planet Crait seen on the cover.
In this new world, Movie Web revealed that a great battle is about to take place.
Additionally, among the three friends, Rose will be the main star of the book titled “Cobalt Squadron” written by the best-selling author Elizabeth Wein and illustrated by Phil Noto. There is also a book that revealed Poe Dameron’s (Oscar Isaac) new ship.
The publication is titled “Incredible Cross Sections.” It is written by Jason Fry and illustrated by Kemp Remillard.
To recall, in the first trailer of the Rian-Johnson film, it gave a glimpse of the ships going into a battle on Crait. However, it was hard to determine who were piloting these ships. But in the book, it revealed that it would be Dameron. The “Incredible Cross Sections” is a book series that features the ships and droids from the “Star Wars” universe. But, it will focus more on the 13 ships from “The Last Jedi.”
