The “Rude Boy” singer was in a controversial relationship with then-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, 28, but she now hopes that her new beau would help her move on.

A source recently told Hollywood Life that Rihanna is hoping that Hassan Jameel would make her forget about Chris Brown and her dark past with him. It is said that it was only with Brown that she opened up about everything for him — but she ended up getting beat emotionally and physically. “He still is the love of her life. She’s definitely falling for Hassan, but it’s still too early to know how far they can go,” the source revealed. “She hopes he can make her trust again and forget about Chris and all the others.”
Another source recently said that Rihanna and Hassan Jameel are already taking their relationship to a new level, although the singer’s father, Ronald Fenty doesn’t approve of her new beau.
