Kailyn Lowry has been on “Teen Mom 2” since the show began. She shared her story on “16 and Pregnant,” when she was pregnant with little Isaac. Her relationship with Jo was very troubled and the two of them could not work things out. MTV saw an opportunity to document her story and she was clearly struggling to make ends meet.
She didn't have a relationship with her mother, she's never had a relationship with her father, and Jo was the only family that she had at the time. But it sounds like things were a little rough for her and she decided to make ends meet on her own.
Throughout the years of being on “Teen Mom 2,” Kailyn has faced quite a bit of backlash for her behavior.
She later revealed that she's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and she had some mental health issues. Lowry’s fans were very forgiving of her behavior because she had been so open and honest about her troubles.
Should Lowry get the boot?
Maybe people are getting tired of watching the same old story on “Teen Mom 2,” because now, some people are calling for Kailyn to be removed. This year, MTV decided that they wanted to add a fifth teen mom star to the “Teen Mom 2” franchise. Briana DeJesus is going to be joining the cast when the show premieres in just a few weeks.
But some viewers feel that this would be the perfect time to let Lowry go.
She has clearly changed her life since being on the show from the beginning. Lowry recently decided that she wanted to get pregnant all on her own and she is now about to give birth to a third child, without the father in the baby's life.
When Kailyn Lowry was faced with the comment that she should be removed from the show she had a very interesting reply.
She told the fan that they should essentially keep dreaming about this happening, as she wasn't going anywhere.
MTV may keep the show around for a while
It sounds like Lowry feels very confident in her role on “Teen Mom 2” and she feels very confident that MTV isn't going to fire her simply because some people want her gone from the show.
One can imagine that the show will keep going until the ratings go down, even though they discussed the possibility of ending the show once before.
They did cancel “Teen Mom 3” after some viewers didn't find the spin-off show that interesting, but people are now invested in the lives of Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea DeBoer, Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans.
