News about Ben Affleck's new romance broke just last week, revealing that the 44-year-old Hollywood star is dating 37-year-old Lindsay Shookus, who is a producer at Saturday Night Live.

Shookus and her ex-husband, Kevin Miller who first met on the sets of SNL and got married in 2010, split a while ago and have already filed for divorce, however, the relationship between both is amicable and according to Entertainment Tonight the pair still "see each other all the time". The former couple, who share a daughter together are so friendly that Shookus's ex-husband knew that his former wife is seeing Ben Affleck before the news about the two dating became public, according to ET.

As for Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, according to Us Weekly, she has also known about the new couple's relationship for a while and still went for a vacation to the Caribbean with Ben on July 4th. On Saturday, Garner was seen coming out of a fitness class with a smile on her face in California, which indicates that she is fine with the news of Affleck and Shookus being together. Both Affleck and Garner, who have been married for ten years, are co-parenting their three kids -- Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

Affleck and Shookus have known each other for many years and according to Us Weekly, Affleck has been seeing Shookus for three years now and started dating her while he was still married to Garner.
The magazine further states that both Garner and Shookus' ex-husband were "devastated" when they came to know about the affair of their respective partners at that time. Lindsay and Ben have been spotted several times together, last week, Shookus and Affleck were first seen in London and on Thursday, both were sighted after a date night dinner together at Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles, California.
PEOPLE further claims that not only are Affleck and Shookus dating but the latter is also staying at Affleck's new house.
Ben Affleck, who has two Academy Awards under his belt, has hosted Saturday Night Live five times and the most recent one was back in May, 2013. Affleck also made headlines in Summer 2015, when he recently split with his then-wife Garner and started dating their kids' nanny Christine Ouzounian right after.
