"Dancing With The Stars" pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd tied the knot this Saturday in a stylish two-day wedding that began on July 8 and concluded on July 9. Their seven-month-old son, Shai Aleksander, had served as prince of honor at his parents’ wedding. Maksim said in a statement to Daily Mail that he wanted to keep things simple, so he invited only a few close friends and relatives to his big day.

The venue and details of guests

Maksim wanted to book the Oheka Castle for his special day. He visited the castle with Peta Murgatroyd weeks before their wedding day, and they were in love with this place.

Nicole Volynets Gamer, a close friend of Murgatroyd, planned their wedding and he properly arranged the things.

On Saturday night, the “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancers and their guests were treated to a candlelight dinner. The list of guests includes "Dancing with the Stars" pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Sharna Burgess, actress Rumer Willis, supermodel Nyle DiMarco, Amber Rose, Val and his girlfriend Jenna Johnson, Candace Cameron Bure, and Henry Byalikov. The bride was wearing an ivory outfit with matching earrings, necklace and high heels.

The groom, on the other hand, chose a black-colored traditional dress for his big day. The couple entertained the guests with special dance performances.

Murgatroyd said in an interview with Daily Mail that she did not want to wear a white outfit. Therefore, she chose an ivory wedding dress with a full gathered skirt that made her look like a princess on her big day.

Another wedding ceremony on another coast

You would be amazed to know that “Dancing with the Stars" judge Julianne Hough tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Brooks Laich, on the same day in Idaho.

The couple had a four-day event that started on Wednesday and ended with a reception on Saturday night.

At their reception, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd partied with their friends.

They rocked the dance floor and had a great time together. Before Maksim, Peta Murgatroyd was in a relationship with famous Australian ballroom dancer, Damian Whitewood.

They remained together for over five years before calling it quit in January 2012. Later on, she began dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and they confirmed their relationship in 2015. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd used to spend quality time together, and fans speculated that they would soon announce their wedding.

Maksim proposed Peta in June 2015, and their son was born on January 8, 2017. Now the couple has plans to reside in New York City with their son, Shai Aleksander.
