Just less than a week after singer Aaron Carter was arrested for Dui and carrying less than one ounce of marijuana, the 29-year old is finally speaking out about the incident. Last month, the singer made headlines when he quit Twitter and ranted about how some "fans" were criticizing his appearance and said that he looked like he had an eating disorder or even cancer.

The singer blasted those who commented on his appearance and explained that he had a "Medical Condition" that caused his weight loss. Over the weekend, Carter was arrested in Georgia for DUI ad possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of other drug-related items.

The singer is now opening up about his experience and sharing his side of the story.

Carter sheds some tears over the misunderstanding

Aaron Carter spoke to ET to clarify the events leading up to his arrest on Saturday for DUI and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. He admitted that he had extreme anxiety about traveling via airplanes, which urged him to purchase a second-hand car. The used car came with malfunctions, which is why he had to have the alignment on the car fixed. He explained that he went to AutoZone in Georgia to have it fixed, but that's when he was approached by the authorities. The "Sooner or Later" singer shared that the police officers "forcefully grabbed" him out of the vehicle and asked if he had any drugs in the car.

He admitted that there was marijuana, but that he only smoked some nine hours before the drive.

Singer confesses that drug use is due to medical ailments

Aaron Carter told ET that he was willing to do a polygraph test to clarify that he was not under the influence of any hard liquors at the time that he was arrested.

He explained that he cannot consume alcohol at all because of his medical condition. He also shared that he only takes "Xanax, Propranolol for high blood pressure medication, and I took oxycodones for my mouth."

Performer might 'develop cancer' due to stress

Aaron Carter explained that when it comes to his medical conditions, his hands are tied.

He admitted that it "hurts real bad" when people are unaware of his medical condition and immediately jump to the conclusion that he is a drug addict. He attributed his drug use to hiatal hernia, and shared that as per doctor's orders, he must "keep stress out of my life, or else it's gonna take a toll on me and I can develop cancer."

Younger brother expresses disdain over Nick Carter's tweet

Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter tweeted his support for his little brother on Sunday, taking to Twitter to address the issue.

However, it did not sit well with Aaron, as he said in his statement that his older brother should have "[called] call me directly and [had] a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum."
