The couple seems to be in love, and show respect and admiration for each other.
Since then, Justin Bieber has been seen openly commenting and targeting Selena Gomez's current boyfriend The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) at a number of events.

Recently, Gomez made it to headlines, when she praised Justin Bieber for his performance at the One Love Manchester Concert. This was an unusual thing for the fans who had seen the clear rift between the trio on social media and via the paparazzi.

The One Love Manchester Memorial Concert was held on June 4 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The concert was a charity concert for the survivors of the bombing that happened at Ariana Grande’s concert on May 22. The concert had performances by Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber.
Recently, in an interview on Sirius XM's Morning Mash Up, she was quoted saying about the Manchester Concert that "It was beautiful, I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how she [Ariana] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful."
Commenting on the terror attacks, Selena Gomez came out in the open and spoke, “Battling hate with love is what I hope everyone can take away.
That’s what I hope they really understand, that we’re not gonna live in fear. We refuse to.”
Her words of admiration for Justin Bieber and the maturity with which she handled her breakup made fans wonder if Bieber might get another chance with Selena. However, their dreams were shattered too soon as Selena Gomez is in no mood to look back.

The Disney star was asked if she and her friend Talyor Swift have introduced each other to their boyfriends. On this Gomez gushed and replied, “I hang out with my new person a lot.” She also said, "Honestly, if my friends are happy, that makes me happy. That's all I care about."
The couple has been sticking around with each other since this January. Making their relationship goals clear, the couple has been traveling around the world for The Weeknd’s "Starboy: Legend of the Fall World Tour."
Some people feel that Selena Gomez has been spending too much time concentrating on the relationship. On the Sirius XM shes said, "I love being supportive.I love just being there and having somebody's back.
It feels good. I haven't had that feeling in a while.", she said.
While Selena Gomez has made it clear what her priorities are right now. She has also made an attempt to maintain a cordial relationship with Justin Bieber and trying to clear up the mess.
