The news outlet reported that Dobrev has been by Wesley’s side every time the “Beneath the Blue” actor encounters hardships in life. As a matter of fact, the “xXx: Return of Xander Cage” actress managed to organize a birthday bash for Tonkin’s ex-boyfriend even after she and Somerhalder broke up.
Moreover, Nina Dobrev has also served as Paul Wesley’s crying shoulder when he and ex-wife Torrey DeVitto got divorced. Because of this, fans cannot help but speculate that the “Let’s Be Cops” actress and the “Peace Warrior” actor could possibly have feelings for one another.

Former ‘The Vampire Diaries’ reuniting in the fourth installment of ‘The Originals’
Aside from dating rumors, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are also reported to be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming “The Originals” Season 4. The co-stars of Ian Somerhalder are said to reprise their roles as Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore.
However, TVLine has only confirmed Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) to have a special participation in the imminent fourth installment of “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff. This marks the fourth time a cast of “TVD” has visited on “The Originals.”
In fact, Paul Wesley has already appeared in Season 3 along with Zac Roerig, who played as Matt, and Michael Trevino, who portrayed the character of Tyler. Meanwhile, the first trailer for the “Flatliner” movie was officially released earlier this week with Nina Dobrev, Ellen Page, and Diego Luna as the lead cast. Along with Kiersey Clemons and James Norton, the upcoming film will center on the medical students playing with death by temporarily stopping their hearts.
