Fans were shattered when it was announced that #Michael Weatherly is leaving the “NCIS” series following the departure of his character, Tony, to be with his long-lost daughter, Tali. However, it seems like there is no goodbye after all as 48-year-old actor is reportedly reuniting with #Cote de Pablo in “NCIS” Season 15.

Anthony DiNozzo, Ziva David reuniting in the upcoming ‘NCIS’ Season 15

Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have garnered an army of fans while portraying their roles as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David, respectively, in the “NCIS” TV series.

Popularly called “Tiva,” their tandem has captured the hearts of many, which makes it really hard for fans to believe that the couple got separated.

In an interview with TV Insider, Weatherly has divulged that he decided to leave the show to spend more time with his family and do other stuff like directing a documentary and managing his own production company. The actor also revealed that his departure was partly influenced by Cote’s exit in Season 11.

“Their great dynamic, the badinage and sparring and flirting between [Tony and de Pablo's Ziva] and how they would swing from siblings to near lovers and back to buddies, that was gone, and then I got to the point where I felt I’d stayed at the party for too long,” Michael Weatherly stated.

Despite this, rumors are rife that Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are totally going to reappear together in “NCIS” Season 15. In fact, the actor, himself, has confirmed to The Wrap his character is likely to get reunited with Ziva David in the upcoming fifteenth installment.

Michael Weatherly, however, made it clear that nothing is final as of yet.

The former “NCIS” lead cast added that, while there is a slim chance, it might also be possible that there will be a crossover between “Bull” Season 2 and the “NCIS” Season 15.

'Tiva' reunion happening on ‘Bull’ Season 2 instead?

Meanwhile, Carter Matt has claimed that Weatherly and de Pablo could get reunited in “Bull” Season 2 instead.

The publication has claimed that there must have been a misunderstanding during the actor’s interview with TheWrap and some of his statements were taken out of context.

“...if you look at it within the scope of the overall article about Bull, it’s clear that this is a reference to Cote possibly showing up on a new show,” CarterMatt claimed. The media outfit has also stated that it would be hard for Michael Weatherly to film the two series at the same time since their filming locations are hundreds of miles away from each other.

Both Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have yet to confirm or deny these allegations claiming that they will be reunited in “Bull” Season 2. So, fans should take everything with a grain of salt.
